Just insert the disc and Press "X" to run the update. If you've got the v1.0 hardware, it's easy for you to do the update. There is a Burn at Once tutorial at the DMS site, at the bottom. Very "no frills" applications that get the job done. The easiest ones I would say are Fireburner and Burn at Once. You can grab a few different programs, and will accomplish the same task: Once you've done that, you need to burn the BIN/CUE file with a program that will burn the image contents to a blank CDR disc. If you don't feel up to it, have someone more qualified do it for you.įirst of all, you'll need to grab the latest update here. *WARNING* - I'm not responsible if you follow these instructions and end up mucking your PS2 up. ![]() There are still some lingering issues with my HDD, but that will hopefully resolved soon. I haven't tested all of them, but rest assured, they will be over the next couple of days. Now, the new features of the 1.6c update absolutely kick ass. ![]() The new 1.6c update is definitely a worthwhile upgrade for those with these models and a DMS v1.0 or v2.0.
